How the notetaker joins each platform
The bot uses each platform's normal join flow — as a guest on Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and from its own Google account on Google Meet — so the only things that differ are how it gets in and who lets it in.
Google Meet
- Join method
- Joins from its own Google account through the normal “Ask to join” flow, in the browser.
- Who admits it
- The host, within five minutes; requests from unrecognised accounts may be listed separately for review.
- What it needs
- Any Google Meet link that opens in a browser — personal account or Google Workspace. Nothing installed, no admin change, and you need not be the host.
Zoom
- Join method
- Joins from the browser as a guest named KhulasaBot (Recording) — no Zoom account, no Zoom cloud recording.
- Who admits it
- The host or a co-host, from the waiting room, within five minutes.
- What it needs
- A standard Zoom meeting on any Zoom plan and an invite link that still carries its passcode. Meetings that require signed-in users cannot be joined.
Microsoft Teams
- Join method
- Joins as an anonymous guest through the lobby — it never signs in to a Microsoft account.
- Who admits it
- The organiser or a presenter, from the lobby, within five minutes.
- What it needs
- A Microsoft Teams meeting that allows guests. No Copilot or Teams Premium licence, nothing installed in your tenant, no Microsoft Graph permission.

Frequently asked questions
Which meeting platforms does Khulasa's AI notetaker support?
Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, on every plan including Free. The notetaker joins each of them as its own participant, records the room's audio and returns the same transcript, summary, decisions and action items whichever platform the meeting was held on. Paste the invite link, or connect your Google or Microsoft calendar and it joins on time. Phone dial-in is not supported on any of them, and each platform page lists what else is out of scope.
Do I need to install anything in Google Workspace, Zoom or Microsoft 365?
No. Nothing is installed on the platform side and no admin setting has to change: the bot goes through the normal join flow like any other participant. On Google Meet it uses its own Google account and asks to join; on Zoom it is a browser guest, so neither Zoom cloud recording nor a paid Zoom licence is involved; on Microsoft Teams it is an anonymous guest from the lobby, with no Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams Premium licence and no Microsoft Graph permission granted. Signing in to Khulasa with a Google or Microsoft account and syncing your calendar are separate, optional features of your own account.
Does the same notetaker work in Arabic and English on all three?
Yes. Transcription does not depend on the platform: Khulasa transcribes Arabic and English in the same meeting — even inside the same sentence — and keeps English product names and terms in Latin script, whether the meeting was on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Choose Auto-detect, Arabic + English, English or Arabic when you request the recording; the summary, decisions and action items come back in the language that dominated the conversation. We make no claim for specific dialects or for other languages.
